Alicia Tucker (yes, art is for sale!) Smiling
waitresses greet repeat guests by name
and are quick to start friendly small talk as
you select your beverage- we love their
milkshakes. Clean, family-friendly and
service-oriented, Island Cuisine’s mantra
says it all: “Great Food, Great Company”.
Reservations are recommended for
large parties especially on weekends.
Mon-Sat 6am-9:45pm
Island Cuisine proudly supports local farms
and fishermen, purchasing the freshest
seafood available. Dishes are homemade, with love, just like your grandmother
did back in the good ole days – no
chemicals, MSG or trans fats added.
Headed by Chef Mark Rozario,
Island Cuisine offers nightly dinner
specials, in addition to a selection of
breakfast specials, which are served
all day, every day. Breakfast for dinner
anyone? Some specials include Curry
Chicken, Meatloaf, Beef Stew, BBQ
spare ribs, Roti’s, and much more. Chef
Mark’s travels lend an exciting diversity
to a classic, Bermudian-inspired menu,
and there’s always something new to
try. Island Cuisine also hosts an award-winning Cod Fish and Potato Breakfast
Special every Saturday at 6am, and
Sunday at 7am.
For breakfast, eat like a local and
get the fish cake ‘n eggs, served with a
liberal scoop of home fries and buttery
toast. Or, if you have a sweet tooth, opt
for fluffy banana pancakes. Then for
lunch, try the fish sandwich platter with
a scoop of Island Cuisine’s famous
creamy, crunchy coleslaw. If you’re
heading to the beach or to the park
for the afternoon, why not let Island
Cuisine happily pack your lunch to-go,
just don’t forget to order a side of their
delicious Macaroni ‘n Cheese! A kid’s
meal option is available too, which
includes a burger, a hot dog or fish
nuggets with fries and a small drink.
Situated in a busy shopping plaza
on Middle Road in Southampton, Island
Cuisine is a convenient stop-off with
a lovely view of Riddell’s Bay in their
back dining room. Easy bus access and
proximity to a few of the island’s iconic
golf courses and South Shore beaches
make this a favourite for tourists. Warm
and welcoming, the restaurant’s decor is
quintessentially Bermudian, with pink and
blue accents and artwork by local artist
