a casual yet upscale resort feel. Their motto –
“Fresh. Simple. Fish.” – reflects an enduring passion
for classic, unpretentious seafood enjoyed in a
relaxed, surfside atmosphere.
The restaurant’s palette of pastel blue
and yellows is both carefree and soothing, while large floor-to-ceiling windows
look out upon a beautiful wrap-around
terrace and ensure that the restaurant
is always full of natural light.
Outside, al fresco seating affords a
dining experience that is simply divine.
Turquoise waters and a pink sand
beach just below the terrace make
this one of the island’s most romantic
date-night destinations. The location
also serves as a stunning backdrop
for parties and summertime entertainment. Top off your evening with
something special from the bar menu;
Ocean Club’s friendly mixologists are
known for their creative assortment
of refreshing daiquiris and signature
Ocean-Tinis. Guests are invited to take
in the salty breeze and the stunning
view while sipping a tropical cocktail, a
crisp glass of wine or a cold beer.
Every morning, fresh fish caught by
local fishermen are delivered directly
to The Ocean Club’s kitchen. Complemented by select catch imported
from overseas, all fish can be served
blackened, pan-seared or grilled to
your individual liking. Choose between
Bermuda wahoo, Bermuda tuna,
swordfish, red snapper and mahi mahi,
to name just a few, and pair with your
preferred aioli, relish or sauce. One
of the all-time favourites is the pan-roasted rockfish, prepared Bermuda
style, with banana, roasted almond and
garlic butter. Delicious!
If you’re eager to taste a little bit
of everything, order the grilled South
Shore seafood platter, which comes
with the catch-of-the-day, shrimp, scallops and calamari. The Ocean Club’s
signature fish and chips, accompanied
by liberal dollops of the usual suspects, tartar sauce and malt ketchup,
