A mixture of Italian and Mediterranean
cuisine incorporates local produce
and an innovative culinary style. Their
menu is well-balanced, offering an
assortment of light, healthy salads,
homemade pastas and prime cuts of
meat, with vegan and vegetarian options aplenty. Griffin’s Bistro now also
bakes their own artisan breads, including herb focaccia, loafs and croissants.
Despite being a relative newcomer
to Bermuda’s dining scene, Griffin’s
Bistro has quickly racked up its fair
share of awards; a proud recipient of a
Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence,
the restaurant employs an experienced team comprised of knowledgeable servers and a very personable
maître d’, Bruno, who goes out of his
way to ensure that your evening is
world class. Griffins’ setting is elegant
yet traditional, flashing an old Bermuda
allure that is classy, but not stuffy. The
menu is similarly simple and satisfying; plating and presentation focuses
on food and flavour, without being
distracting or pretentious.
Dinner at Griffin’s Bistro features
dry aged steaks and chops- a meat
lover’s dream. In particular, their grilled
lamb, served Piedmont-style, marinated in lemon and local herbs, is one
of our favourites. Pasta lovers, on the
other hand, will swoon for the delicate
hand-stuffed ravioli of the day. Every
evening, the kitchen also tacks on
a special entree that reflects freshly
available produce, local seafood and
seasonal tastes. Leave it to Executive Chef Piero and Head Chef Marco
Marinelli and their team of Sous Chefs
Andrea and Bootsie, as well as pastry
Chef Alessandra, to craft a truly one-of-a-kind meal!
